What better way to warm up on a chilly Fall night? This refreshing beverage is the perfect holiday treat for anyone!
YOU’LL NEED: 10 fresh apples, 1 orange, 2 cinnamon sticks, a dash of ground nutmeg, a dash of ground cloves/4 whole cloves, 1 gallon filtered water.
STEP 1: Wash your apples and peel them if they aren’t organic.
STEP 2: Cut your apples into slices and place them in a slow cooker. Do the same for your orange, cutting it into 8 slices.
STEP 3: Add in your spices. This includes your cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, and ground/whole cloves.
STEP 4: Pour your gallon of water into the slow cooker and turn it on low for about 6-8 hours.
STEP 5: Once ready, strain out the apples, orange, and spices using a cheesecloth or a fine mesh strainer.
STEP 6: Be careful–the contents may be hot! Sip carefully and enjoy!
